Our patented tip-ferrule technology uses a "stinger" to transmit the hit energy directly to the center of the shaft, by-passing the ferrule. This gives you amazing accuracy and hit efficiency.

That stinger is part of the tip and projects down through a hole in the ferrule. Because all the energy goes to the center of the shaft, even a "bad" hit gives good results. The tip is flatter than you might expect. With the stinger technology, the flatter tip gives a much larger "sweet spot".

The tip & ferrule are guaranteed for life. You don't have to do anything but apply chalk. If you'd like to scuff it once in a while, please do.
